SUCCESFUL PHD DEFENCE!
Affect Matters: (this is an Affectivist Autoethnography with
Asylum Seekers and Refugees)
2nd December 2015 marked the culmination of several year's of work and research with many refugees and asylum seekers. Together we embarked on an affective journey, of relationship and discovery. Next to a new title, I also gained many new friends and above all a renewed vigor to continue on this Affectivist (Affective and Activist) path. My speech can be found under 'Tekst van Kim'. This is the lay speech which I gave before being questioned by the members of the committee.
